So make sure they are in the right place before you remove the backing and place it down. I tend to hover over my project then place.- Wait at least 24 hours after painting to apply the transfer. Or follow your paint manufacturer recommendation- Make sure the piece is clean of dust and residue. - Always seal your transfers after they are on your projects. You can use wax or a liquid waterbased topcoat. Wax is always last. Your transfer will not stick to wax. - Glass windows or mirrors do not need to be sealed. You can wipe the glass with a damp micro-fiber cloth made for glass. Do not use chemicals to wash the glass.
